He was predeceased by: his father Ray Walker; and his brother Dudley Walker. He is survived by: his wife Mary Schneider; his children, Dawn McKinney (Gary) of Mooresville, IN and Shawn Walker (Amy) of Lafayette; his sisters, Josephine Black of Burbank, IL and Barbara Jalloway of Chicago, IL; and his grandsons, Austin McKinney, Zachary McKinney and Wyatt Walker.
