It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Mae Freshour of Monticello, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Poynter and Anna Poynter (Taylor); her husband Sweetwater Lake; her grandson Gregory Freshour; her sister Jean Acton; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Acton, Harold Swisher, Richard Freshour, Marie Martin and Linda Chappell.

She is survived by : her children, Pamela D'Amico (Dennis) of Lebanon and Kirk Freshour of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Kelli Kincaid (Kraig) of Noblesville, Jason Behr (Ashley) of Dallas, TX, Dana Stevens (Jeff) of Wentzville, MO and Denise DeForge (Jeremy) of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Cannon Brunes, Kolton Kincaid, Memphis Freshour, Rhys, Rowan Behr and Dax Stevens; her sister Jane Swisher of Indianapolis; and her nieces and nephews, Charlotte Frandsen of Lebanon, Susan Viehman of Indianapolis, Mark Swisher, Mike Swisher and Kenneth Acton of Lebanon. She is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052).
