He is survived by: his wife Marcha "Kay" MacOwan of Monticello, Indiana; his children, Mike MacOwan (Barb) of Monticello, Dr. Vanessa Cole (Fred) of Patoka, Angela Beaver (Brian) of Sellersburg and Jerry MacOwan (Amber) of Monticello, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor "Ellie" Lucy of Monticello and Dan Disinger of Francesville, Indiana. He is also survived by Grandchildren; Seven (7) Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins.
Memorials may be given to Fransican Hospice of Lafayette, Indiana.
