Charles W. Hickman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles W. Hickman of Monticello, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren R. Hickman and Marie Hickman (Hilgedick); his wife Judy Stewart; and his brother John L. Hickman. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hickman of Monticello, Susan Lamb and Jennifer Keller (Scott); his siblings, Judy Williamson of Logansport, Warren Hickman (Peggy) and William Hickman (Patty); his grandchildren, Brian (Nichole), David (Ashley), Amanda (James), Kaden (Alexiss), Ryan (Erin) and Aaron; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Isaac, Knox, Jacob, Ethan, Theodore, Remy and Eleanor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home (202 S Illinois St, Monticello, IN 47960). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hughes Cemetery (Forrest City, AR 72335).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Monticello Kiwanis Club (1626 N Royal Oaks Dr, Monticello, IN 47960) or Lake Shafer Association (P.O. Box 30, Monticello, IN 47960).
