She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Reuer and Thelma Reuer (Lackey); her son David J. Geiger; and her grandson Tyler Geiger. She is survived by: her husband John R. Gieger of Monticello; her son John R. Geiger Jr. (Staci) of Anderson; her daughters-in-law, April Lee of Monticello and Jenifer Geiger of Monticello; her grandchildren, Luke and Allison Geiger; and her sisters, Susie Gergely (Glenn) and Patty Hennessey (Jim).
