He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heise and Marguerite Heise; his sons, Randolph and Roderick Heise; and his brothers, Edward and Raymond Heise.

He is survived by: his children, Rudy Heise Jr. (Holly), Kim Fischer and Crystal Benson (Nathan); and his siblings, Marjorie Ahlenius, Fred Heise and Richard Heise. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
