He was predeceased by: his parents, Rutherford Byron Walters and Carolyn Seljan Walters; his sister Gayhart Blanton; and his grandson Duane Morris Walters. He is survived by: his wife Judy Chapman; his children, Kelly J. Walters (Janine) of Leesburg, IN, Lynn Darda (Chris) of Knox and Duane Walters (Denise) of Nappanee, IN; and his brothers, Rutherford Byron Walters II (Donna) of Ora, IN and Lawrence Walters of Tennessee. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
