We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2022, at the age of 86, Richard W. Brandt of Monrovia, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Herman C. Brandt; his sisters, Mary Summers and Bonnie Brandt; and his pets, Sassy and Peyton.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Mae Brandt (Ball) of Monrovia; his daughters, Brenda Powell (Harold) of Avon, Sherri Brandt of Monrovia, Kathy Silvers (Kevin) of Center Point and Denise Braun (Vincent) of Elwood; his siblings, Herman Brandt of Indianapolis, David Brandt (Jan) of Carmel, Charles Brandt Of, Dean Brandt (Bonnie) of Plainfield and Betty Franklin of Spark, NV; his grandchildren, Amanda Herald of Indianapolis, Trey Powell (Ashley) of Indianapolis, Brady Silvers (Samantha) of Center Point, Sarah Short (Caleb) of Noblesville and Katelin Mercado (Chris) of Lebanon; his great grandchild Milo; and his pets, Gonzo and Scooter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 E 91st St, Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830, and envelopes will be provided during services.
