He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Gene and Kathryn Laurabell Gibbs (Smith); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Burch and Bruce Lauderman. He is survived by: his wife Reta Gibbs (Lauderman) of Monrovia; his sons, Cory Michael Gibbs (Jamie) of Plainfield and Ryan N. Gibbs of Plainfield; his stepson David Wirey (Casey) of Monrovia; his sisters, Susan Burch of Amo and Kathy Wills of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Jalie, Steven (Bri), Neva, Renae, Lyla and Braden; his parents-in-law, Ron, Fay Allbright of Shoals and Boston; and his pet Sam.
