He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Vern and Evelyn Adams (Mace); his wife Peggy Ann Adams; and his brothers, Dave Adams, Robert "Bob" Adams, Joseph "Joe" Adams, Lawrence "Larry" Adams and Daniel "Dan" Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Lucciola (Emilio) of Plainfield, Scott Adams of Martinsville, Connie Adams of Mooresville and Julie Henderson (Shawn) of Monrovia; his siblings, Michael "Mike" Adams (Linda) of Florida, Evelyn Hirts (Kevin) of Bloomington, Marilyn Kelly (Leonard "Bud") of Brooklyn and Jaqueline "Jackie" Burns (Roy) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Jake, Lucy, John, Antonio, Phillip, Ryland and Dustin; and his great grandchildren, Addie, Andrew, Austin, Hallie, Emily, Audrey, Maggie, Hazel, Mirabella, Holland and David.
