He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel S. Howe and Betty J. Wagner (Layman); his son-in-law Jerry G. Hopper; his brother Charles C. Howe; and his mother-in-law Nola M. Converset.
He is survived by: his wife Marcile M. Howe of Monroeville; his children, Richard L. Howe, Jr. of Monroeville, Cheryl L. Hart (Robert) of Monroeville, Jana M. Hopper of Harrison, OH, James C. Howe of Monroeville and Elizabeth A. Bradfield (Joseph) of Huntertown, IN; and his grandchildren, Ashley L. Hammond (Mathew), Robert B. Hart, III (Ariel), Brittany A. Nunez (Roberto), Brian L. Hart, Isabella J. Howe, Nolan L. Bradfield and Tanner J. Bradfield. He is also survived by seven great-grandsons; and many grand dogs.
Memorials are to the American Legion Post #420 and Humane Fort Wayne.
