He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Meyer and Rosella F. Meyer (Malloy); his grandson Kyle Gerardot; and his brothers, Bruce T. Meyer and Lynn F. Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Meyer of Monroeville, Indiana; his daughters, Lori Wagner (Jeff) of Monroeville and Kimberly S. Smyly of Liberty, Missouri; his brothers, Paul L. "Louie" Meyer (Pat) of Monroeville, Indiana and Phillip A. Meyer (Ava) of Monroeville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Kayser (Doug), Abby Pick (Andy), Alisha Bontrager (Noah), Hailey Smyly, Jonathan Wagner and Emmie Smyly. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
