She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Asa Friend and Fern Friend (Elliott); her husband Roy Lavern Hardy; her son Jerry; her siblings, Harold, Maywood (Curly), Robert Friend, Pauline Petty, Vilena Ross and LaDonna; and her son-in-law John Christianson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle and Melanie; her granddaughter Connie; and her friend Brenda Hamrick (Squeaker Marie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
