He was predeceased by: his brother Scott R. Roy. He is survived by: his wife Cara M. Roy of Monroeville; his sister Sarah E.; his sons, Charles A. Roy of West Peoria and Nicholas S. Roy (Rachel) of Monroeville; his stepchildren, Kirsten Place (Andy) of Urbana, IL, Emma Taylor of Savoy, IL and Johnathan Taylor of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Gabriel Roy, Jacob Roy, Maryn Roy, Scott Roy, Moses Place and Grace Roy; and also Laura McCullouch of Fort Wayne.
