She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhard Franke and Vera Franke (Hormann); and her sister Phyllis Franke. She is survived by: her brother Tom Franke (Tina) of Monroeville; her nieces, Samantha Shaffer (Cary) of Decatur and Jessica Franke of Monroeville; her nephew Derek Franke of Monroeville; her great-nephews, Kyle and Ross Shaffer of Decatur; and her uncle Bob Bowen of Decatur.

Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church – Flatrock and the American Cancer Society.
