Nicol; his sons, Peridot, Brian Hockemeyer (Rhonda) of Monroeville and David Jason Hockemeyer of Hoagland; his daughter-in-law Holly Leach (Sean) of Lincoln, Nebraska.; his grandchildren, Katelyn Hockemeyer (Kyle Dickelman), Emily Borst (Alex), Micah Hockemeyer, Aiden Hockemeyer, Jonathan David Hockemeyer Leach and Braden Leach; his sister Mary Zelt (Larry) of Leo, Indiana.; and also Sherman J. J. Nicol (Glenda) of Marysville, Ohio..
He was a member of the Allen County Farm Bureau, Hoagland Area Advancement Association, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
