He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Anderson and Hilda Anderson (Roemer); his wife Marjorie Gerardot; his grandson Tyler Anderson; and his brother Donald Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Anderson (Peggy) of Monroeville, Indiana, Mary Houser of Decatur, Indiana, Leroy Anderson (Sally) of Payne, Ohio, David Anderson (Tina) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Joan Simpson (James) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kevin Anderson (Lori) of Decatur, Indiana, Susan McKinnon (Mark) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Mark Anderson (Heather) of Monroeville, Indiana. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- Jacobs Chapel (111 S Water St, Monroeville, IN 46773). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Jacobs Chapel (111 S Water St, Monroeville, IN 46773). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (206 Summit St, Monroeville, IN 46773).
Preferred memorials are to Masses or St. Rose Catholic School.
