He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Linder; and his sisters, Donna Weber and Mary Grimmer. He is survived by: his spouse Marjorie M. Jacquay; his children, Sandra Dager (Ronald) of New Haven, Dennis Linder (Jody) of Monroeville, John F. Linder (Rita) of Fort Wayne, Richard A. Linder (Jane) of Bedford, NH, Barbara Slater (Michael) of Fort Wayne and Lisa Litchfield (Gerald) of New Haven; and his brothers, Carl Linder of Fort Wayne and Edward Linder of Decatur. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; & three great-great-grandchildren.
