With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lucy K. Atkinson of Monroe, Indiana, born in Portland, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Larry D. Atkinson; and her parents, Burnice Williams (Vernie) and Elmer Smith (Lou). She is survived by: her children, Jeff Atkinson (Carrie) of Berne, Michelle Parrish (Ben) of Decatur and Alissa Mountz (Shane) of Monroe; her brothers, Jim Smith of Berne and Steven Brock; her grandchildren, Jared Parrish (Megan), Brooke Schaefer (Dustin), Colton Mountz, Scott Atkinson, Shaelyn Mountz and Ethan Mountz; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Greyson, Lynlee Parrish, Mira, Remington Schaefer and Jericho Mountz. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lighthouse Church.
Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Church preschool.
