It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Mercer of Monroe, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Belle Mack; his mother Fonetta B. Mercer (Grubb); his cousin Nelson Elkins; and his granddaughter Nicki Mercer. He is survived by: his daughters, Trina Watkins of Greenwood and Valerie Dunn (Mike) of Brown County; his daughter-in-law Laura Mercer; and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
