She was predeceased by: her husband William Helderman; her sisters, Clara Butke, Margaret Mullins and Betty Beard; and her parents, John Butke and Hulda Carnahan Butke.
She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Bolling and Ida Mae Offill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church in Petersburg, Indiana in honor of her.
