He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kirk and Ida Kirk (Blaise); and his siblings, Marvin, Harold, Kenneth, Charles Kirk, Irene, Merle Jean Buxton and Alta Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kirk (Clinkenbeard); his sons, Christopher (Nicole Kirk) of Washington and Craig (Debbie Kirk) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Mark Kirk, Lauren, Carly, Hallie Kirk and Brian Austin; and his great grandchildren, Jaycesten, Adleight and Olivia Austin.
The family requests no flowers or gifts as memorial contributions may be directed to the South Knox Education Foundation or the Community United Methodist Church Prayer Garden.
