He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Henry and Lula Mae Hoops (Fidler); his wife Christie Hoops; and his brother William Hoops. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Hoops (Misty) of Monroe City, David Hoops (Patty) of Monroe City and Angela Byers (Randy) of Greenwood, IN; his stepson William Morris (Jennifer) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Josh Hoops (Taylor, Jaden Hoops), Jackson Hoops, Garrett Hoops, Justin Hoops, Andrew Chanley and Jace Morris; his great grandchild Amelia Chanley; and his sister Brenda King (Raymond) of Vincennes.
