He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sr. Maple and Mary Maple (Mc Daniel); and his siblings, Bill Maple and Linda Watson. He is survived by: his children, Ron Maple Jr. (Sarah) of Wisconsin, Rhonda Koch (Carl) of Tennessee and Robert Maple (Joyce) of Monon; and his siblings, Ralph Maple Jr. (Edith) and Louanne Hulbert (Gary). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
