He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Russell" Byroad and Helen Byroad (Ratliff); and his brothers, Robert and Larry Byroad. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Zarse; his children, Carolyn Miller of Remington, Nancy Redmon (Russ) of Monon, Jonella Beale (Mike) of Delphi and Shawn Byroad of Monon; his brother Ronald Byroad (Marlene) of Wolcott; and his grandchildren, Joe Suhr (Jen), Brock Suhr (Janel), Miles Redmon (Bree), Johnathon Redmon, Ashley Wallace (Matthew), Jimbob Miller (Arielle), Jennifier Miller, Joshua Miller, Jonah Miller (Dakota), Jake Miller (Ski), Jilliann Miller, Brooke Beale and John Michael Beale. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
