With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jim Allen of Monon, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jim left this world on April 5, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Allen and Irene Allen (Lewellen); and his sister Doris Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stearns; his children, Rodney Allen of Chalmers, Tracey Ruemler and Jamie Mathew; his grandchildren, Aaron, Ashlee, Brett, Dyln, Owen, Katie, Maddie, Eli and Ayden; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Charlotte, Finnley, Crosby, Konway and Kora; his sister Pat Bell of Monticello; and his close friend Jo Beeson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon Saturday (197 W Broadway St, Monon, IN 47959). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Jim Allen Memorial Fund to be used for a later good in his name.
