With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernesto Márquez of Monon, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopoldo Márquez and Eloisa Quiñones; his sister Otilia; his brother-in-law Luis Miguel Garcia of Anthony, NM; and his nephews, Jose Luis Garcia of El Paso, TX and Fernando Márquez of Durango, MX..
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Elta Márquez, Tanya Márquez (Adam Romero), Elsworth Marquez (Dena Albano) and Esmeralda Woodcock (Rodney); his grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Woodcock; and his brothers, Erasmo Márquez (Felix) of Durango, Dgo. and Gerardo Márquez (Nena) of Chimayo, NM. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in his honor, Ernesto would like for family and friends to donate to any charity focused on education, music, or the care of senior citizens.
