It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Bowman III of Mongo, Indiana, born in Garrett, Indiana, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Duane Junior and Hazel May Bowman (Nelson); his wife Mary C. Rhinesmith; his children, Shanan Staton (Jamie) of Mongo, IN, Brittny Klein (David) of Churubusco, IN, Nicolette Byers of Kendallville, IN and Brandon D. Bowman, IV of Mongo, IN; his grandchildren, Caterina Staton, Ella Cooley and Lincoln Archer Klein; his sister LaStarza Noble (Jeff) of Hudson, IN; and his parents-in-law, Robert Rhinesmith (Sherryl) of Wolcottville, IN and Rhonda Bartlett (James) of Wolcottville, IN. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Mongo United Methodist Church, PO Box 33, Mongo, IN 46771 or Stroh Little League, 11065 E 350 S, LaGrange, IN 46761; envelopes will be available at the church also.
