Lewis of Modoc, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Nancy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nancy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Poindexter and Betty Rains (Walls); her husband Ralph Lewis; and her daughter Rebecca Lewis. She is survived by: her sons, Randle Lewis (Lisa) of Modoc, Robert Lewis (Christina) of Kendallville and Richard Lewis of Ligonier; and her sister Beverly Lee of Garrett. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
