He was predeceased by : his father James Smith; and his grandparents, Marion and Ethel Short. He is survived by : his mother Roberta Smith (Short); his children, Eric Smith (Misty) and Melissa Wise (Ryan); his grandchildren, Andrew Pheffer, Riley Smith (Stone), Owen Wise and Nolan Wise; and his siblings, Belinda Goble (Jeff), Tammy McCool (Spencer), Gloria Manuel (Jim), James Smith (Lavina) and Bryan Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
