He is survived by: his parents, Nellie Jane Tolbert (Williams) and Phillip Edmonson; his spouse Connie Sue Helton; his children, Elizabeth Knight of Mitchell, William Samuel Edmonson, Jr. of Mitchell and Jenelle Brooks of Indianapolis; his significant other Linda Kay Longest of Mitchell; his siblings, Dorothy Sanders of Pennsylvania, Kenneth Tolbert of Pennsylvania, Duane Edmonson of Mitchell and Jeff Edmonson of Mitchell; his children, Melissa Pemberton and James Ritchison; his grandchildren, Timothy Pemberton, Sherman Knight and Joseph Knight; and his great grandchildren, Sammy Edmonson and Lochlan Cook. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
