He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond O. Leavitt and Helen E. Leavitt (Kennett); and his siblings, John, George, Ray and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his son William Henry Leavitt, Jr. (Harmony) of East Kingston; his grandsons, Page and Jordan; and his brother Lowell Eaton. He is also survived by several nieces; and one great-great nephew.
