He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Jones and Alice Aleen Jones (Eisenmenger); and his siblings, Abby Jones, Bob Jones, Reese Jones, Jr., Mamie Coffman, Dorothy Goen, Violet Jones, Maxine Elgin and Edith Mitman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones of Mitchell; his children, Jamie Jones Barnett of Mitchell and Jack R. Jones (Michell) of Jackson County; his grandchildren, Megan Rudolph, Jacqueline Burnette, Kyle Jones and Kayley Hacker; and his sister Phyllis Harris of Bedford. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bryantsville Cemetery (157 Bryantsville Rd, Mitchell, IN 47446).
