He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Nelson and Marilou Chapman (Guthrie); his wife Donna Jean Austin of Mitchell; his sons, Thomas Nelson Chapman (Shelly) of Hot Springs and Brian Keith Chapman (Tammy) of Mitchell; his stepson Tony Spradlin (Dana) of Campbellsburg; his siblings, Debbie Ann Russell (Gary) of Orleans and Robert Nelson Chapman (Cynthia) of Mitchell; his nephews, Allen Russell and J. R. Chapman; his stepson Larry Spradlin; his grandson Caden Chapman; and his nephew Michael Gray.
