He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clark and Dorothy Fern Hatfield (Cummings); and his sisters, Darlene May and Jo Ellen Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Gala Conley of Mitchell; his daughter Kristle Tipton (Kenneth) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Synia Kopp of Tyler, TX and J. D. Kopp of Bloomington; and his siblings, Darnelle Holsapple of Williams, Jill Hatfield of Bedford and Gregory Scott Hatfield of Mitchell.
