With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ocie Alma Owens (Mitchell, Indiana), who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James John Allan and Gertie Snada Melton (Daniels); her husband Richard Yowell; and her brother Paul Melton. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Irwin (Kenny) of Mitchell, Roland Eugene Atchison (Linda) of Mitchell, Glenda Lea Duncan (Larry) of Mitchell, Gary Dwight Yowell, Robert Eugene Atchison and David Bryant Atchison; her grandson Brian Scott Johnson; and her siblings, Walter Melton and Brance Melton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
