With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Turner of Mitchell, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Myrtle find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie C. Dowling and Elsie Edwards Dowling; her son Roy Dowling; her son-in-law Scott Eisele; and her great grandchild Anthony Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Eisele, Mike Strunk (Theresa Pemberton) of Mitchell, Jamie Strunk and Johnny Turner of Bedford; and her grandson Dalton Strunk. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
