She is survived by: her husband John Edward Slaughter of Mitchell; her children, Jennifer King of Mitchell, John Slaughter of Mitchell and Roxie L. Barnes (Jeremy) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Allie, Elizabeth, Joey, Layne, Keaton and Tatum; and her close friends, Melissa, Fishing, Cross Creek Grace and Brittany Spaniel.
