Martin Sandlin Obituary

Martin L. Sandlin, 74, of Mitchell, Indiana passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at his residence.

Born December 3, 1947 in Perry County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Mac and Faye (Strong) Sandlin.

Martin was retired from Dana Industries and Essix.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lucille (McLemore) Sandlin, his children, Coleman D. Sandlin of Mitchell, Indiana, Martin "Marty" Sandlin of Austin, Indiana, Ollie Marie Sandlin of Austin, Indiana, brothers, Dale Wright of Austin, Indiana, Doug Wright of Scottsburg, Indiana, Buddy Wright of Scottsburg, Indiana, sisters, Jackie Wright of Austin, Indiana, Penny Gail Wright of Scottsburg, Indiana, Judy Broshear and Billie Faye Mosley of Crothersville, Indiana. Grandchildren: Layla, Kelsi, Katlin, Karlee, Rosealee, Sterling and Kristopher. He is also survived by 5 great- grandchildren and his god-son: Devin Swiger.

Funeral Service: 7 PM Monday, October 17, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Joe Arevalos officiating.

Visitation will be 4 pm until the start of the service.
