With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loetta Myrtle Hamer of Mitchell, Indiana, born in Princeton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Bert and Ruby Myrtle Long (Pugh); her husband Otto Glenn Hamer; and her sibling Shirley Ferre. She is survived by: her son Glenn Hamer (Linda) of Mitchell; her brother Harry Long of Oregon; her son-in-law Barry Clark (Julia) of Dongola, Illinois.; her daughter Barbara Jean Clark; and her siblings, Larry Long, Jerry Long and Jeanie Buchanan. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
