He is survived by: his parents, Hershel Gerkin and Pearl Gerkin (Kern); his spouse Jessie Colleen Carroll; his children, Donna Kendall and Drake; his grandchildren, Doug Kendall (Sandy), Carol Barber, Michael Kendall, Amy Wilson (Jeff), Chrislyn Particka (Mike), Daniel Gerkin, Emily Rogers (Nathan), Thomas Gerkin, Jacob Gerkin (Audra), Elizabeth Stephens (Bryce) and Allie Gerkin; his great grandchildren, Andrew Barber (Rebecca), Aaron Barber, David Kendall (Kelsey), Angela Kendall, Madeline Wilson, Sam Wilson, Ben Particka, Claire Particka, Alivia, Jack, Max, Liam Rogers, Shane Gerkin, Elaina Gerkin, Madison, Ethan and Ella Gerkin; his grandson Phillip Kendall; his brother Louie Gerkin; his sister-in-law Evelyn Gerkin; and his child Indiana University Health Hospice.
