It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirk Delno Kennedy of Mitchell, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delno Kennedy and Marcia Kennedy (Johnson); his father-in-law Leo Whitney, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Kamryn Kennedy, Hayden and Emery Koon.
He is survived by: his wife April Whitney of Mitchell; his children, Kaitlyn Morgan (Noah) of Mitchell, Kelsey Koon (Harley) of Kokomo, Kirk Kennedy II (Kacey) of Russiaville, Kory Kennedy of Kokomo and Alex Kennedy of Mitchell; his siblings, Kent Kennedy (Cathy) of Kokomo, Kerri Hartman (Gary) of Sheridan and Kamala Ahnert (Roby) of Kokomo; and his mother-in-law Mary Ellen Whitney of Kokomo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren.
