He is survived by: his wife Alice VanHoy of Mitchell; his sons, Jeff Isom (Kate) of Mitchell, Greg Isom (April) of Mitchell and Eric Isom (Tracy) of Lowell, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jon Carl Isom (Cari), Thomas Isom, Larkin Isom, Cristy Burlage (Nick) and Diann Gimbel; and his great grandchildren, Norah and Charlotte.
