It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Emanual Hack of Mitchell, Indiana, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley and Leila Mae Hack (Mustain); his wife Carolyn Sue Dalton; and his sister Wanda Albertson. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Irene Sanders (Jim) of Shoals, William Kevin Hack (Julia) of Mitchell, Lori Lynn Hack of Mitchell and Anthony Joe Hack of Bedford; his grandchildren, Natalie Cotton (Jason), Brandon Hack, Megan Young, Scott Sanders and Kelly Sanders; his great grandchildren, Joshua Hack (Emily), Jakob Hack, Maisa Cotton, Christian Cotton, Zeke Cotton, Lucas Sanders (Hannah Harshaw), Conner Rascoe, Emma Rascoe and Kirstie Rascoe; his nephew Kinley Hack of Bedford; his daughter Susan Kay Johnson; and his siblings, Ralph Hack, Frank Hack and Gladys Fender. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Mitchell Masonic Lodge No.. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Mitchell Cemetery (1315 W Brook St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
