He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Workman and Elsie Workman (Woods); his wife Dorothy Ruth Mundy; and his sister Margaret Workman. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Workman-Harkness (Jim) of Mitchell, Mike Workman of Mitchell and Myra Smith (Darren) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Candace Medlock (Matt), Devin Smith, Derek Smith, Dustin Smith, Jori Workman and Jacey Bundy; his brother Paul Virgil Workman of Newark, Ohio; his son Mark Duane Workman; and his siblings, Charles Workman, Bud Workman, Catherine Gosnaski, Ruth Shelton and Betty Overton. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Mitchell Cemetery (1315 W Brook St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
