He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Edmonson of Mitchell; his son Charles Robert "Robbie" Edmonson (Melanie) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Jamahlyn Edmonson Campbell, Natasha Edmonson Brasher, Brooke Edmonson Walden, Brittany Edmonson of Cayden Edmonson, J. J, Syris Edmonson, Kihya Chastain and Nakiah Edmonson; and his siblings, Irene Short of Paoli, Brenda K. Kennedy of Linton, Russell Edmonson and Donnie Edmonson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
