He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Allen and Gladys Estelle Burris (Sherwood); and his brother Paul Burris. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Burris of Mitchell; his children, Paula Sowders (Tom) of Mitchell, Allen Burris (Kedra) of Mitchell and Lou Ann Rader (Mark) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Matthew Sowders (Jean), Jeremy Sowders (Moriah), Sarah Rollins (Derek), Kyle Rader (Charlsie), Lester Burris (Maddie), Luke Burris (Lydia), Rebecca Fleming (Micah) and Ben Burris (Victoria); and his siblings, Ralph Burris of Hamilton and Norma Roberts of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
