He is survived by: his children, Chasity Spicer Borum of Savannah, GA, Sharon M. Mullis of Oolitic, Billy Super of Bedford and Melissa Acton; and his siblings, Raymond Spicer of Bedford and Effie Smith of Mitchell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
