He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moon and Geneva Stroud Moon; his siblings, Donald, Marvin, Curt, Esther Hess and Margie Madden; his brother-in-law Carson Madden; his nephews, Doug Apple and Justin Moon; and also, John B. and Marie T. Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Kelly Brown; his children, Pamela Cooper (Jim), April Butler (Danny Brown), Jeremy Moon, Jon Moon (Molly), Michael Bass, Matthew Brown (Ana) and Adam Brown (Shannon Robertson); his grandchildren, Danielle Cooper (Casey Mullis), Jessica Cooper (Brandon Turner), Brittany Cooper (Trent Manship), Nikki Hammond (Todd), Josie Moon (John McFarland), Landon Moon, Madison, Alayna Bass, Atkyn, Westyn, Alex Brown, Maddie and Nate Robertson; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Arielle, Colten, Gabby, Abby, Braydon, Waylynn and Brooks; his brothers, Raymond Moon, Roger Moon (Valerie), Denny Moon (Tammy) and Kevin Moon (Doris); his siblings-in-law, Glennis Hess (Mary Kay), Judy Simpson and Sherry Moon; and also, Dan Kelly (Wendy) of Lafayette, Paul Kelly (Donna) of Orleans, Jim Kelly (Linda Reynolds) of Orleans, Alan Kelly of Orleans, Annette Straney (Kenny) of Vine Grove, Gerald Kelly of Lafayette, Edward Kelly (Charlotte) of Chester, Terence Kelly (Sheri Lancaster) of Mitchell, Lawrence Kelly (Lana) of Lafayette, Cecilia Beehler (Jason) of Indianapolis and Martha Davis (Brent Watson) of Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Justin Moon Memorial Scholarship at the Orange County Community Foundation.
