He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cottengaim of Mitchell; his children, Wesley Cottengaim of Huron, Daniel Cottengaim of Mitchell, Tina Middendorf (John) of Guilford and Deann Mallory of Edinburgh; his sister-in-law Irene T. Cottengaim of Mitchell; and his siblings, Glen Cottengaim, David Cottengaim, Donald Cottengaim and Menlo Cottengaim. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
